This incredibly handsome yet functional knife duo is an absolute must for anyone who appreciates fine Japanese kitchen knives. A 240 mm Yanagi, and a 180 mm Deba. The yanagi originated in Kansai (Osaka) and is used to slice boneless fish fillets and Sushi toppings. It's long and slender profile makes it a natural slicer that is capable of surgical precision in the right hands, While the Deba is a butchering knife used to cut meat and fish. It's thickness and weight allow it to go through fish and chicken bones effortlessly, and it's sharp tip enables it to work well for filleting fish.
The "Kitchen slave" duo is comprised of two knives. A 240 mm Yanagi, and a 180 mm Deba. Both are made of the highest grade o1 carbon steel and come with Rosewood and copper handles as well as acacia wood sayas.TC Blades
